The Client
Pedal for Alzheimer's, a 501c3 non-profit charitable platform committed to organizing cycling events to raise money, create awareness, and provide education towards the mission of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s.
The Journey
Creating the Knoxville Gran Fondo brand was an exciting challenge that brought together our city's outdoor energy with Pedal for Alzheimer's charitable mission. I blended vibrant green and orange hues to merge Knoxville's natural landscape with the organization's established branding. Incorporating the iconic Smoky Mountains and the city's beloved Sunsphere added an instantly recognizable local connection, grounding the event in the community it serves. The result is a bold, dynamic brand identity that celebrates both place and purpose.
Behind the Curtains
Less than a week from concept to launch
Rapid-fire design iterations to nail the perfect balance of local identity and brand consistency
Creating a logo that needed to work across everything from jerseys to promotional materials immediately

Nashville Gran Fondo
Following the success of the Knoxville brand, I also designed the Nashville Gran Fondo logo, featuring the iconic Natchez Trace bridge along the event route.
Though the event never officially launched due to a pause on event promotion, the design captured Music City's distinctive character while maintaining consistency with the Gran Fondo series.
