Challenge
PTAC4Less wanted to improve its product pages with the goal of encouraging customers to purchase related parts and accessories. The challenge was to create a new page structure that could make relevant products easier to discover while keeping the primary product at the center of the experience.
Approach
I approached the redesign around visual hierarchy and the customer's path through the page.
The product itself remained the primary visual focus, while related products and recommended replacements were positioned as natural extensions of the purchasing experience. The goal was to introduce upsell opportunities without making the page feel overly promotional or distracting from the primary product.
The design was developed within the existing brand guidelines, using hierarchy and content placement to support both usability and conversion.
Solution
I created a new product page wireframe and visual direction using Adobe XD and Illustrator.
The redesign incorporated strategically positioned related products and a recommended replacements section to help customers identify complementary purchases and replacement options. While the final development did not reproduce every element of the design, the overall visual hierarchy and structure were used in the implemented experience.
Outcome
The project demonstrated how visual design can support a specific business objective. Rather than redesigning the page purely for aesthetics, I used hierarchy, layout, and product placement to create a clearer purchasing experience and introduce opportunities for additional revenue.
